Taylor Patricia Rowe was only 7 years old and had just started 2nd grade when she received her Leukemia diagnosis. Tay-Tay’s amazing spirit and love of life soon turned her challenges into a constant source of encouragement for other kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. She fell in love with her doctors (but mostly her nurses) and they loved her right back. Taylor and her mom Teri created Stickman to show some “Tried and True” ways that helped them cope with lengthy hospital stays.
Taylor lost her battle with cancer at the young age of 9. As first-time authors, it was Taylor and Teri’s dream for Stickman to live on in this journey to help other children traveling down the path to recovery and healing.
